family visits (R.I.P. Misty)

Pauline has just called - they had Misty put down yesterday.....she had started to get savage with them, and nearly bit Colin one night. Oh well, we knew it would be soon.......she had a good innings.
Rhyse made it home OK on Wednesday and finally met Cheyenne for the first time. He didn't really say much (gee, what a surprise !!!) just looked at her a lot. Saw him off on the 9 o'clock flight back to Sydney this morning (after he arrived home from last nights outing at 7.30) He's going to catch the train to Jo's next weekend, just needs someone to be sober enough to pick him up!!!(think Annabel is comming up home up here) Just booked the e-tags for Pauline's and our car, so we're all ready to go......
Had our first fire of the season last night.......bit chilly,enough so that we were quite comfortable with it on.
Terry finishes up work at Bello Primary School this week, and he will be back to waiting for the phone to ring every morning. At least he will be able to stop having to work 12 hrs a day and be stressed out all the time. Of course we won't have any money.......but who needs that !!!!!! My job continues, so at least there will be enough for some food and a slab each week. May have to drop AUSTAR though.......
Going to join Terry out on the front verandah in the sun now and perhaps a beeer......see you southerners soon
